Privacy policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Sidge lets you put yourself in a video using your photos. This page explains what data we use, why, with whom, for how long, and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
Sidge, an app published by Stéphane Nimer (legal entity being set up). For any question about your data: contact@sidgeai.com.
What we collect
- A technical session identifier, created when you open the app. We don’t ask you anything at launch.
- If you create an account: your email address, or the identifier provided by Apple or Google. No name, no date of birth.
- The photos you upload and the videos made from them.
- Your credit balance and purchase history. Payment goes through the App Store or Google Play: we never see your card.
- Your language, your referral code, and a notification token if you agree to be told when your video is ready.
- The reports you send about a video.
We don’t collect your location or your contacts, and we use no advertising trackers. We sell no data.
Why
- To make your video, show it to you and let you save it: the service you ask for (performance of contract).
- To manage your account, credits, purchases and referrals (performance of contract, accounting obligations).
- To tell you when your video is ready, if you agreed (consent, which you can withdraw in your phone settings).
- To handle reports, prevent abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
Your photos are only used to make your video. They are never published or shown to other users.
Photos of people
Before uploading a photo of a person, you confirm that it’s you or that you have their consent, and that you are 18 or older. Don’t upload a photo of someone without their consent.
Who we share with
Only the providers the service needs receive data, each for its own part:
- OVHcloud (France): hosting of the app, database and files.
- Higgsfield and reAPI: making the videos from your photos.
- Apple and Google: sign-in, payments through their stores, notifications.
- RevenueCat: tracking purchases made on the App Store and Google Play.
- Twilio SendGrid: sending the sign-in email.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. These transfers are covered by the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long
- Uploaded photos: automatically deleted 30 days after upload.
- Videos, credits and history: kept as long as your account exists.
- Email sign-in link: valid for 30 minutes.
- When you delete your account, everything is erased immediately: account, videos, photos, credits.
Deleting your account
From the profile in the app: “Delete my account”. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Unused credits are lost.
Your rights
You can access, correct or erase your data, ask for a copy, object to or restrict its processing. Write to contact@sidgeai.com, we answer within one month. If you feel your rights are not respected, you can complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).
Security
Traffic with the app is encrypted (HTTPS). Your photos and videos are stored in a private space, only reachable through temporary links. Access to administration is restricted and logged.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with its date. For significant changes, we let you know in the app.
